Unlike other spatial formats, using the Mach1 VVBP (Virtual Vector Based Panning) system, all surround and spatial rendered sound field formats are ingestible without alteration to the sound field. Mach1 Spatial achieves a perfect 1:1 with what the audio producer or engineer created, with no processing or filtering effects to simulate directionality at the expense of quality.
With Mach1 the creative mix is the technical mix.
If you create content
Avoid mixing in confusing systems that require you to use their processing
effects (unless you specifically desire so).
Use the same mixing environments from stereo mixing or surround mixing; be
able to hard-pan to any direction in a full divergence system.
No processing effects are added during or after mixing (unless you
specifically desire so), ensuring your mix is retained as a master format
and can be safely transcoded to any other surround or spatial audio
format without degradation.
Creatively decide what spatial mixing means yourself in our vector panning
format, define what “directional” or “distant” means yourself, as expected
in post-production.
